Visana and the Swiss Lifesaving Society want to make sure that everyone can enjoy a safe day in and around Swiss rivers and lakes. To educate young people on water safety, they asked production company BOFF. to create the interactive campaign “Save your Friends”.
BOFF. is a video production company located in Bern, Switzerland.
Using our interactive video studio, BOFF. created a video with gamification elements, like a timer and a life counter. These gamification elements are engaging and help to create a sense of urgency–similar to real life situations that require the viewer to make good decisions quickly.
A combination of cloning interactive projects and building new interactive templates allowed them to quickly create the video in four different languages, as Switzerland has four official languages. This saved them a significant amount of time and enabled them to reach an even wider audience.
The campaign ran from July to September 2021 and generated 16.5k views and a conversion rate of 26.5%. In 2021, the video won a Silver Dolphin award at the Cannes Corporate TV & Media Awards.
