Goodbye 2020 nominated for Computable Awards 2021

Together with Follow the Beat, Google Cloud, Zoom, Incentro and the municipalities of The Hague, Rotterdam and Groningen, Blue Billywig was nominated for a Computable Award. They’re nominated for an award in the category Government Project with Goodbye 2020.

About Goodbye 2020

It wasn’t possible to end 2020 with the normal festivities, concerts, and parties. To make up for this, Follow the Beat created an online festival, Goodbye 2020, where viewers could build their own festival line-up from various live streams. Viewers had the choice between 50 streams with performances by Fedde Le Grand, De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig, Suzan & Freek and others.

Praise from the jury

Computable hosted talk shows to announce and discuss the nominated projects in the 20 categories. During the talk show on Government Projects, the jury said the following about Goodbye 2020:

"A wonderful event that worked without disruption. No less than 650,000 viewers and a wonderful event with 250 artists that took place throughout the night and led to a very enthusiastic group of people partying online."
