“Can you survive a day in the water?” This is the premise of the interactive video campaign created by BOFF. for Visana and Swiss Lifesaving Society. Every summer, many young people spend their time in and around the Swiss waters, which often leads to accidents. According to reported statistics, young men between the ages of 15 and 30 are especially likely to get into an accident on the water.

The interactive video “Save your friends” educates viewers on the dangers of Swiss rivers and lakes. Viewers take on the role of Josh, a boy who’s going to spend a day on the water. As the video progresses, the viewer has to make sure Josh makes the right choices so that he and his friends stay safe.

The campaign ran from July to September 2021 and has generated 16.5k views and a conversion rate of 26,5% in a short period of time. In 2021 the video won a Silver Dolphin at the Cannes Corporate TV & Media Awards in the category Interactive Videos.
