Account Manager Media Solutions - Singapore

Due to the continued growth of Blue Billywig, we’re looking for an Account Manager to join our Media Solutions team in the new Singapore office. You’ll be one of the first new hires in the office, reporting to the Country Manager.

We are an internationally operating software company. With great passion for our profession, we build an Online Video Platform completely in-house that’s used by large organisations worldwide.

The ideal candidate should possess an entrepreneurial spirit, with a positive approach towards problem solving and a keen ability to spot and act on opportunities. The role requires a mix of social, commercial and analytical skills, with a passion for and hands-on approach towards tech being an essential attribute for the successful candidate. The main responsibility will be helping drive new business as well as owning the existing client relationships in APAC.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the success of our key accounts through working closely with clients and understanding their business needs;
  • Developing new client relationships and building a network of customers, with a focus on digital publishers throughout APAC;
  • Strengthen and grow client relationships through constant communication and new solutions for both their content and advertising strategies;
  • Plan and execution of client needs on a daily basis;
  • Identify best practices and market trends and act upon them;

  • Plan and execution of client needs on a daily basis;
  • Troubleshoot and manage technical challenges between numerous video vendors;
  • Collaborate with internal teams and optimize productivity;
  • Lead the setup planning and implementation of new clients;
  • Proactively manage your own schedule in order to meet monthly, quarterly and yearly revenue objectives.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Fluent in English, with another language is beneficial;
  • 1-2 years of digital advertising experience, preferably in an operational or account management role;
  • Knowledge of the video advertising market is a plus, particularly publisher revenue streams such as instream and outstream advertising;
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent;
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Suite and Google Workspace;
  • Passionate about technology and digital video;
  • Willingness to travel abroad (within SEA) when necessary and 1 trip to the headquarters in the Netherlands per year;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Understanding of the ad tech landscape - such as knowledge of Google Ad Manager and other ad tech vendors is beneficial;
  • Aptitude, flexibility and desire to work in a fast-paced video advertising environment.
